Fox News Dumbest Anti-Atheist Question of the Month?

As per YouTube:

The bias against atheists and atheism on Fox News is consistent, as I've documented in multiple videos, so much so that it almost seems like I could start a contest for the dumbest anti-atheist question of the month, as I show in this video.

Atheism doesn't rule out the possibility of life after death, it simply is a statement that we would like some kind of evidence before shaping our lives around the idea.

But beyond that, ceremonies and monuments have always been for the living, not the dead. Atheists are just more likely to get that concept than somebody who is afraid the man in the sky is constantly judging them, along with all their dead relatives.

I'm an atheist, and I believe in the possibility of consciousness transcending mortality. The difference is that I don't think that you have to behave in any particular fashion for that occur. No heaven, no hell, no reward, no punishment.

And it's a real shame too because there's loads of religious people out that who would most definitely going to hell.

To answer his second question, it sounds like a good idea in theory, but I think the reality of the situation is instead of a public forum for mindful important debate it degenerates into lunatics ranting about damnation or the government putting florid in the drinking water. I'm not against public forums, just unavoidably public forums.

still changes nothing

how soon can this kind of idiocy be shut down for good by swift rebuke on the spot?

sadly, if she's eye-candy, it matters not if she's an idiot.

Hell, she could barely know how to read and still have prime position on fox. Look at Beck!

I think atheists should get less butthurt and trying to be all smart and just loosen up. I mean, I don't even want to call myself an atheist anymore, since i see there are atheists who actually believe in paranormal. How the fuck can you not believe in God but believe in ghosts??? I don't believe in anything paranormal, so that makes me what - scientific naturalist?

Anyway, this all youtube raging is getting really lame.

Atheism rejects the belief in deities. That's all. We are not controlled by the will of "Gods".

Surely, working from this shockingly ignorant woman's stance would it not be a GREATER sacrifice for a non-afterlife-believing Atheist to die for his country? If an Atheist does not believe in a continued discarnate existence then surely what they give up becomes worth even more?

She seems to be suggesting an Atheist's life - and death - are worth less honor than a Christian/Deist. That is a horrible thing to be allowed to broadcast.

So many Christians really only care about their own kind, and if they presume to care about others it's typically only because they're attempting to convert them (while destroying their culture).

It has always bothered me the hypocrisy of the Christian soldier/cop, as if wearing a uniform exempts a person from "THOU SHALT NOT KILL".

It has always bothered me when someone would take a modern translation of a thousands year old text and use it at face value to make a retarded point.

in the original hebrew, ratsach is used in this verse that some translations translate (how redundant) to kill. It is more accurately translated as murder. I would hope i wouldnt have to explain the differences between the words kill and murder.........but we'll see
