APFSDS - Armour Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot. The American Abrams tankers used to call them 'Silver Bullets' back in the early nineties; maybe they still do. They were made largely out of natural or depleted uranium and they combusted slightly when shot through the air, leaving a faint glowing silvery trail behind. You could see it best at night obviously.

Whenever I come across news like this it leaves me feeling incredibly uneasy. It is essentially being said only those who believe in the Christian god are worthy to attain the highest and most honourable positions in society. Are atheists genuinely considered second-class citizens? Terrible.

Firstly he suggests 'The Atheists' - not dissimilar to 'The Terrorists' - do this to 'run down baby Jebus' and thence forward he refers to his own astoundingly asinine suggestion as certain fact.

Surely, working from this shockingly ignorant woman's stance would it not be a GREATER sacrifice for a non-afterlife-believing Atheist to die for his country? If an Atheist does not believe in a continued discarnate existence then surely what they give up becomes worth even more?

She seems to be suggesting an Atheist's life - and death - are worth less honor than a Christian/Deist. That is a horrible thing to be allowed to broadcast.
