lurgeesays...FUCKing with THE POLICE!
chingalerasays...All it's going to take is one fuckup to strap home made explosives to one of these and most of you kids will be alive to see all civilian RC devices become instantly illegal (around the same time gun ownership in the United States becomes criminal after imbeciles decide the 2nd amendment means all manner of bullshit under a revised document resembling some arcane time when people needed every last man and their guns to squash the real criminals).
mxxconsays...I agree with the 1st point, disagree w/ the 2nd.

Tokokisays...Just what is the range on those things?
Paybacksays...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojIz5Mai2Rw&feature=youtu.be
They claim this was 150m, but they can get out to 25km (15.5 mi) using "10mW on 2.4", which I assume means a 10mW transceiver using a digital signal at 2.4GHz.
Just what is the range on those things?
coolhundsays...So its time to use those things in cars, like in Viper. They can scout ahead and make you even able to overtake in bends!
Though, I dont think they can keep up with a car driving 60 mph, much less scout ahead of it.

00Scud00says...I wonder what the battery life is like? I saw one demonstrated over at the Mall of America that could go for about 15 minuets. On a side note, it sounds like a beehive doing it's rendition of the theme music for the black obelisk in 2001 A Space Odyssey.
