The last comment that was made by Neil is an interesting one.

Just the other day my girlfriend asked (She lives in another state, i swear. She's real!!) why our nation spends so much money on going to space/mars.

I explained that we don't actually spend that much money compared to everything else in the budget. I also explained that a lot of today's inventions were made possible by the challenges to get to the moon. Then I talked about expanding the knowledge of our universe and so on.

To which she replied with, "Why do WE have to spend the money. We should just let other countries like Russia spend their money to go there and we can just sit back and absorb all the knowledge and technological advantages they get without having to spend a dime."

This video was really hard to imagine from the description, as I kept mentally putting Family Feuds Richard Dawson in place of Richard Dawkins.
