Look at the driver video. He DELIBERATELY cranks the wheel to the left. She had already stopped her assault for a moment. He was not distracted at the time, there was nothing in front to avoid.

He was going straight, and then she goes out of view and he suddenly swerves left ON PURPOSE.

You can see from the other dashcam, that there are no vehicles ahead of the bus that he was trying to avoid.

I think he was trying to get her to fall down and stop attacking him when the bus hit the barrier. I don't think he was expecting to go over the side. He was hoping the bus would just crash and she would maybe be ejected through the windshield, but he 100% purposely crashed the vehicle.

Someone should remake this with a modern car. You know, silent since it's electric. Boring, since it's automatic. Can't lose the cops since they can just log in and track it... Car chases and cars in general are going to be so boring in the not-too-distant future.

I guess that stands to reason, considering they hired a bunch of rich white people to play characters in it; it began and continues as a crowd funding scam to create rich white people, and rich white people are the only ones who still care about it.

I believe this is from the Australian show Beyond 2000 (or possibly one of its other incantations such as Beyond Tomorrow, or Towards 2000, in which a lot of the same personalities were featured--Iain Finlay, for one). I used to watch the fuck out of it as a kid. I wish I could find more than the 2 or 3 full episodes that I have online. Fun to look back on what people thought the future would look like, and see how accurate their predictions were.

Also, this show's theme music was unforgettable.

I can't figure out what caused the cyclist to fall over. Was he intentionally swerving to trip that running lady? I have watched that bit over and over and I just can't get it to make any sense...
