proposed alternative for Fedquip

Since Fed's blog association with VS appears symbiotic, why not link him up in "videosift's friends and partners" like Ant's forum and Neatorama?

If Fed's positively self-linking here then let's just make an honest man out of him? ;-)

At least that, Raven...more or less a glorified playlist that VS plays host for...perhaps mirrored in his own blog. Consider this an opportunity to evolve a little. If VS partnerships with other sites then why wouldn't other's want to do the same with us? Just a layman's thought here.....

TAYTV would act as more of an affiliate site, rather than as a collective or channel within the Sift... this could of course not just apply to TAYTV, with some kind of set up like this in place, the sift lords could then also have the opportunity to take on other affiliates, if they felt that it would help them gain more traffic or whatever it is that sustains the site. I'm just saying, that TAYTV, or any other such user that is essentially merging an existing site or blog to the sift, operates for different motives than the regular users of the sift that there should be some sort of seperation... sort of like how neatorama is an affiliate, but closer to home.

In giving this some more thought...
on how the videos in these hypothetical affiliate sifts (hey, I like that, affiliate sift)... anyway... so, the owner, or affiliate sifter could post videos to the site that would post concurrently on both the sift and his blog, also, he could snag vids posted by regular members to the sift and earmark them for display on his blog/affiliate sift as well, kind of like playlisting them. This would give them room to expand their content because they probably wouldn't have members as they would in collectives.

Well... that's the start of an idea anyway... anyone like to pick up off that?
