Agreed, though some hurt worse than others. I'd give up every other video I ever sifted here to have the votes on one in particular back. Used it as a reference for activism here and elsewhere and it's going to look kinda lonesome sitting there with two or three votes Not quite as impressive as the 62 it had. Had never used a self promote or beg yet but I guess I'll have to rethink that when the rush of them ends here.

Maybe we could use a thread for that in a couple of days? Everyone pick just one or two that they really want to focus attention on, something that matters more to them than most?

^ That's a great idea drattus, you should do that And even if we all lost our votes, at least we didn't lose our star points and they stayed in the queues they belonged in. It really doesn't seem that big of a deal...

Bad morning overall I guess. I had an animal die a couple of hours ago, on the way to the vet but didn't make it. I don't think I'll be starting the post this time. I'll hang around and watch some vids, vote a bit. It'll help distract me if nothing else, but this probably wouldn't be a good time to resift a controversial thread if I'm likely to be short on patience or not in the mood. It's still a good idea though but don't wait for me to post it. Not for a few days at least.

I'm glad the sift is back up, I actually only cared if my videos maintained their top 15 status and they did! That was always the biggest bragging right for me.

rather then the votes I received, what I would really like back is that list of voted-up videos. I was pretty proud of that one and liked to think that it defined me as a user here.

I mean, whenever I referred someone to videosift, my voted-up page was the place I told them to start: "this is what I personally deemed good"

Oh well.

I'd quality this a second time if I could.
