Would people like a healthcare channel?
It's hard not to notice the large amount of videos being posted in recent months relating to healthcare given the political battles going on in the US. I was thinking that given the momentum healthcare has it might be good to go with the tide of interest and promote having a channel. It also looks like the biggest issue to heat up in the coming months with so many powerful stakeholders involved. As I'm not qualified to do a channel I'm just curious what people think of the idea.

Yes please.. I've said it before - don't understand how we can have a channel for Grindhouse or Comics but not a health channel! Do it up.

It should NOT be exclusive health OR medicine, but encompass both; and therefore outlive the flava'o'da'month. We could all use some tips on living better.
calvadosHow about just Health (or Health&Body perhaps, but I think shorter is better). You can make it known in the description that it's also for fitness (or unfitness)-related things, and medical topics as well.
Also perhaps you want to keep it open to nonhuman subjects -- so that, say, a video about some animal's health condition would also be allowed.

yoghurtFor a second my dyslexic brain read "Would people like a HARDCORE channel?" and I was like YEAAAH!! But seriously, a Health/Body/Medical channel would be okay... maybe won't be the busiest channel on the Sift and there might be a lot of cross-posting to science... but hell, why not more videos of pimple squeezing and other gross medical procedures!
