What to do with Dead PQueued Videos?

Normally only published videos may be declared dead. That wasn't an issue in the days before the PQueue as un-published dead videos would just go the way of the dodo and never be seen again. But now un-published videos go to the PQueue and will just stay there even if they are dead as the *dead invocation won't work on them (as seen in this example).

We should be able to use the *dead invocation on PQueue videos and I can think of three things to do with them:

1. Treat them the same as other dead videos, go to the dead pool with the rest of the deadites.
2. Discarded if the owner dosn't fix it with a period of time.
3. Purgatory! Send it to a special dead PQueue area where the original submitter can fix it, but it isn't shown in any of the other areas. (Proably not a great solution as the issue of dupes will come up, but I just like saying Purgatory)

Personally I'd go with number one -- PQed videos are still active, and can still get votes like any other video, so why shouldn't they go into the dead pool like all the rest of them?

I say we pray for the souls of all the dearly departed videos.

*religion

(You asked for ^that, with your insistence on using the term "Purgatory". Being raised a Catholic, I don't take this kind of blasphemy lightly. However I will still pray for you. Sinner.)

Well we could just *kill it or *discard dead PQueue's but I'm not sure how fair that would be. I think they should be treated the same as other videos and be marked *dead and sent to the Dead Pool or marked as *dead and then discarded if not fixed within x days...

I like option 2. It is a video that can receive votes, but it is also in a situation where if the submitter isn't taking care of it, it should go (and therefore leave room for someone who will shepherd it better if it has a following).
