The missing PIzza Cats...
I posted the first episode of Samurai Pizza Cats into the queue early this morning (some time after 12am I think) and no not only is it missing from the queue, it's not on the front page, it's not even in the discard pile. I didn't even receive a polite e-mail explaining the situation. An explanation is rightfully demanded at this point.

Is it possible you missed the final submit step?
Here it is: http://www.videosift.com/video/Samurai-Pizza-Cats-Episode-1
You couldn't find it because it was blogged then discarded while still in Sift Talk.
Btw, no need to "demand" an explanation. You can just ask.
The reason given was it was a full episode. I recall many full episodes of things being posted here with no ill effects, but I guess I don't have any say in when a double standard is or isn't brought into effect. Oh, well.
I would say the double standard is with regards to Documentaries mostly, I would say.
hey old spider, find yer power animal, and simply, slllliiiiide.....
(like I'm one to talk, huh??)
And music videos. It'd be a shame not to have a double standard here.
Eat webbing, Chogworth.
There was a post from Dag in another sift talk thread about this, I think re a full episode of Still Game.
The problem is full episodes tend to attract takedown notices, shorter clips generally don't, with some notable exceptions. And I doubt that music publishers really want videos pulled given their power to promote artists.
In a way we are posting what we can get away with. I starblogged a performance of Bill Bailey and it seems that one-off complete performances and documentaries are ok in this regard. This isn't double-standards, for me it's being realistic about content that gets uploaded to the video hosts.
I see, thank you.
huh.. what about the full eps of wondershowzen?
well if a "full episode" of something lasts just 5 minutes i guess it's not problem.
at least for me.
but it's borderline, i'd say?
btw old spider, didn't you check the box "send me an email when my post receives comments"? it's really useful, and often works.
