Greetings friends! Welcome to the latest, greatest giveaway from the VideoSift Shop! It might not be a well-known fact, but lots of Sifters fancy themselves a chef and lots of other Sifters have OCD, while a select few are both! Whether you're all or none, the grand prize for this giveaway is pretty great: The OCD Chef Cutting Board has an intricate pattern that will allow you to chop, slice, and dice your food with great precision.

How to Enter

You may use as many or as few methods of entry as you'd like. Each entry that is valid at the end of the contest will add your name into our pool of potential winners. At the conclusion of the contest, we will select three winning names at random, with a maximum of one prize per person.

The methods of entry are as follows:
  • FACEBOOK - 1 ENTRY
    Post to Facebook a link to any product in the VideoSift Shop and paste the link to that specific Facebook post in the comments* below - note: you must make sure your Facebook post is visible to "Everyone" (you can do this by clicking the gear icon next to the "Share" button)

  • GOOGLE+ - 1 ENTRY
    Post to Google+ a link to any product in the VideoSift Shop and paste the link to that specific Google+ post in the comments* below - note: you must make sure your Google+ post is visible to "Public"

  • SIFT A VIDEO - 2 ENTRIES
    Submit to VideoSift a video prominently featuring a cutting board throughout. The description of your video must include a link back to this contest post. The video must be sifted up to the front page and still published at the end of the giveaway to be eligible. Paste the link to that post in the comments* below.

  • TAKE A PHOTO - 5 ENTRIES
    Take a photo of a cutting board with chopped food and/or knife present, including the handwritten words "VideoSift.com" and "OCD Chef Giveaway" somewhere in the shot; paste a link to your photo in the comments* below (the required content must be captured by the camera, not added afterward)

  • RECORD A VIDEO - 15 ENTRIES
    Record a video that includes the chopping of food on a cutting board, including the handwritten or spoken words "VideoSift.com" and "OCD Chef Giveaway" somewhere in the video; paste a link to your video in the comments* below (the required content must be captured by the camera, not added afterward). Earn a BONUS 15 ENTRIES if your video walks through how to prepare an actual dish from beginning to finished, edible product. Earn a BONUS 10 ENTRIES if someone submits your video to VideoSift and it gets published.

We will accept a maximum of 2 links from each of Facebook and Google+. For these methods of entry, each unique linked product will be counted only once. Note: To be fair, if you cannot create a Google+ account, state that fact below and we will accept 2 additional Facebook links in lieu of Google+ links.

For "Sift a Video" we will accept up to 2 different published videos.

For "Take a Photo" you may submit up to 2 different photos, but each photo must contain an obviously different cutting board and different handwritten text.

For "Record a Video" we will accept only 1 video.

Entries will be accepted through August 21, 2011 at 11:59PM US Pacific. The more you enter, the greater you chances of winning!

I will chop stuff to get a few entries in I am sure it'll be fun if I try to make a video using a cell phone camera, and make sure I am not showing my face OR speaking. But I can do it, I am good at multi-tasking and staying anonymous. And my accent is weird, OK.

I was going to make succotash soon anyway, so I might as well try to tape my glorious preparations I do need to get some corn, and I just realized the okra I have in the fridge had gone bad.. So I need to get more. Mebbe on Monday!

Weekends are for grilling!

Lol, I just finished cooking and TRYING to tape my succotash. Obviously my cell phone mic sucks, since it sounds like I have a lisp! I have an accent yes, lisp no! And I have not even unzipped a video editing software to put this together, let alone figured out how to use it.

You might end up having a very weird pathetic cooking video, but damn it, I am going to get those 15 bonus entries for a walk-through cooking demo!
