Get a beige box and install the Linux flavor of your choice.

There is no "broke".. I mean maybe if you are like the German screaming kid... But usually you have the categories of power supply, CPU, harddrive, random motherboard problem, windows died and I don't have a ubuntu bootdisk.

There are dropkicked the box, dumped water into it, etc. type categories.
