12 hours? Wow. I was on VS and it seems OK before I went to sleep. After I woke up (6:15? AM PDT), it was weird.

Yeah, definitely, Sift Talk in particular took ages to load last night. But this morning, everything was slow.

Seems like it's getting back to normal now though

This is totally normal for me, VS is by far the slowest site I visit. It had been faster after the server switch for about a week, then went back to its usual sluggishness.

Oh god it's like slow/fast. So annoying.

Is there feature bloat on this site now? I feel like there are so many unnecessary bits all over the place that are slowing it down overall.

I did not see that problem last night and this morning.

The site maybe bogged for a while when I did a SiftTalk search for submitter "ant" and search term "slow".
