I usually just downvote them. No need for more rules.

I usually downvote as soon as I spot one too. It is funny how people react to them depending on the person that submits them. Picture a probie or non star posting and people jump to point out how it is not valid to post it. But let a diamond or above post it and on occasion it is suddenly ok to have them.

But from my experience, I have seen that downvotes work most of the time.

Any audio posts that manage to get published are usually pretty great. I haven't seen any song + album cover ones get through, and would probably downvote them like rasch.

The one video I posted like this got 124 upvotes.

So basically, you know, lick me.

Some of them are impossible to get a proper video on, so sometimes I sift them, if they're good. If someone else has submitted one and the music is good, I'll even upvote it too, but usually my attention span is too short and I wander off.

I see downvotes as a personal attack on my character and put the hate down on anyone who crosses me.. that's how I roll.

I will only sift something if it has a montage of pictures, never if it just a still. As tempting as it is cos there is so much quality stuff that has no videos for it, I think it kind of defeats the object here.

I also think that if people want to upvote it and enjoy it, then let them do so

I don't really see the problem. They're pretty rare, for one.

The site is about sharing, and sometimes a song or a narration is every bit as entertaining or informative as a video.

if its got sound and at least one frame, its a video. if its got more than one frame, with or without sound, its also a video.
