Metaphorically self-promoting links?
I think we should be allowed to put vids that metaphorically self-promote ourselves. How many ladybug vids or firefly vids have been allowed? I think that restriction should be removed.

I'm pretty sure I already did that

There is no rule against FireFly submitting a video about fireflies - if that's what you're asking.
Since I'm sure there will be only one movie named Swampgirl, my one trailer is all they'll be
Well, I for one have only two “firefly” vids, this one and
this one. Now as for ant, whoah, don’t get me started…!
but yeah what dag said, there's no rule against it, if you find something about you or your name, go for it!
Actually, there is, which is why I posted this. Check the posting guide. It says no vids in which:
* You are somehow represented in the content of the video whether photographically, artistically, audibly, or metaphorically.
I think metaphorically should be removed.
ah, good catch. and good idea. *quality
dag?
Gold Star member firefly has awarded djsunkid one published post for this quality Sift Talk contribution.
Actually, "metaphorically" needs not be removed. A video featuring a firefly in no way represents the human individual to whom the "firefly" VideoSift membership belongs. That is merely a coincidence.
That guideline intends to restrict any manner with which someone might attempt to skirt being disallowed to submit a video in which they appear, narrate, voice an animated character, etc. or are included as claymation, animation, etc. or have their vocals and/or instrumental and/or foley art audible... Basically, we're just covering all our bases.

*RE-quality!
and thanks for clarifying.
