Expiring videos not appearing on the "top 15 queued" list

I noticed that I have a video expiring soon and its not coming up on the "top 15 queued sift videos expiring soon" list.

The video has 7 votes. Shouldnt it automatically be added to the list if it has more votes and expiring sooner than other videos on the list. If it doesnt work on votes than maybe the title of the list shouldnt be "Top 15".
reln says...

"I may be wrong, but I believe the Top15 expiring is videos from 3 days to 4 days in queue sorted by votes."

It is but why are there videos on the list with 6 votes while videos with 7 votes arent?

This question has actually been asked and answered before.

To reiterate, anything older than 4 days (even by a matter of minutes) is not included in the listing because it has exceeded the queue lifetime, but just has not yet actually been discarded by siftbot. If a video was posted more than 4 days ago, but is still in the queue, you can expect siftbot to sweep it into the dust pan at any given moment.

I can see some errors.. If you sort the queue by votes, and look for those over three days, you get them to match up except for a few, like:

Ok, so that has 8 votes, and should be listed second... BUT if you check it was saved. So the original date in queue is weeks not days. So, it looks like all of the videos FROM 3 days old to 4 (or 5?) days old (original submission date) are listed in top15 and sorted by votes.

Sift talk posts count on your total posted amount as well. The idea being that you are still contributing to the community. Use this newfound knowledge carefully grasshopper, lest you feel the wrath of the *offtopic siftquisition.

Now to Lucky et al. you could change the Top15 sort to use the dates as displayed on the queue page instead of the absolute SubmittedDate. I'm not sure exactly how you reset the date for saved videos in the queue (which revert to original date after exiting queue) but the Top15 in queue *could* use that date.

yeah just a conversation talking about the offtopic a while back was enough to avoid actually having to create one. Although I like that reln immediately posted another sift talk post after I warned him.

Krupo says...

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Careful kids, sift talk posts are not to be used wantonly!

I'm half-tempted to suggest a decree that future self-congratulatory announcements (for items that deal with anything less than a gold-ishing) be discarded as posts (with the key fact being that these be self-congratularoy announcements: if a second party wishes to congratulate a notable bronze/silver, we won't tramp down against that).

We would, of course, keep the existing post up with a warning to others that it's only being kept as a notice to others not to use it as a precdent but rather as a standing warning of what "not to do".

That was kind of a long rant - make sense, though?
