dag, I had same problem. Thought it was weird the delete was mysteriously gone. My original thinking was that this was removed for some reason.

Anyways it finally came back.

I'm guess it is just a cookie/login/whatever problem.
Try logout and login. Then try deleting site cookie. Then try some posting your own profile replies (public and private). And it should fix itself.

Sorry we didn't get around to fixing this sooner. We are making changes for our big upcoming 1 year anniversary feature and I wasn't aware of the problem until just now. Comment deleting should be back to normal now.
