Yeah, I thought the prequels damaged the series so bad it was done for me. I got sucked in because it really looked like they got 'it' with the first movie of this new trilogy.

Then...that horrible sequel...it simply killed the entire universe for me. I'm back to the only ones that count are the original trilogy. I won't even be watching this one on streaming or redbox.

I finally saw this sequel on CATurday night! It was fun and enjoyable.

Typo in title - Alien. I think they'd probably need a much heftier budget for the sequel.

Upvote, purely because I have to wonder "why?" And imagine the pitch being, "Hey guys... let's make a live action Dora, she's a teenager now in High School. Teen angst. Adventure. Action. The Jumanji sequel worked out a million times better than anyone expected."

Hm. Maybe. Putting aside for the moment that the original film was nearly perfect and needed no sequels or reboots, Jason Reitman probably will have more respect for the series and won't let it become the soulless Hollywood Reboot-O-Tron disaster that the 2016 version was.

Take the basic concept, do something new with it, and it might turn out to be a good film. Can't say I'm excited or anything though. The Ghostbusters intellectual property by itself isn't anything special.
