10 Things You Didn't Know About A Christmas Story

moonsammy says...

Dude could stand to edit his intro down, but mostly solid info. I had no idea the movie had so many sequels and "sequels"!

At the end he suggests Americans should catch up on some Aussie classics. Any suggestions? The only four that I've seen and know for sure to be Australian, off the top of my head, are Young Einstein, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Castle, and Mad Max. No doubt I've seen more than that, but I don't want to assume set in / starring an Australian means it was actually made by Australians...

10 Things You Didn't Know About The Matrix

Yes. Sequels weren't good though. 4th one, eh. I am not expecting much!

Did you celebrate its 20 years anniversary last year?

I can't believe I watched the whole thing.

Still love The Matrix. One of the few movies I watched multiple times in its initial theatrical release.

Yet another thing that makes me feel old as hell when I realize that was 21 years ago now. wtf

50 Inch Max Vertical!! 5'9" Riley Smith is INSANE!

spawnflagger says...

those records are guys bending their knees to get onto a platform.
I'm not saying this guy can or can't jump higher than them, just it's a different jump.

They need to hurry up and make a "White Men Can't Jump" sequel before Alex Trebek dies.

That's odd, he's 13.5 inches below the record set by Evan Ungar, but because Smith is white you call him the essence of success.

BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC Official Teaser Trailer #1 (2020)

LukinStone says...

Cool. This has been in development for a while, at least, I heard about the script years ago. I think the two previous movies were both interesting. And, the sequel really did a good job of not rehashing the same ground as Excellent Adventure. We'll see, like anything nowadays, may suck hard but I'll give it a chance.

R.I.P. to a horror movie legend...

I'm not really a Rob Zombie fan, but I absolutely love Spider Baby, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, and Monster Squad! Those are solid movies in my book.

I'm surprised to see Beware! The Blob... I didn't know someone made a sequel. Looks terrible but I love the old Blob theme song and Frank Darabont's remake of the Blob is in my top ten 80s horror movie list. Hell, it may be top ten all time horror.

I need to comb through his movie list and watch some b movies soon! I've already seen a lot of those blaxploitation flicks, but I've never seen Coffy. Looks like a fun movie.

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time | Retrospective Review

Mordhaus says...

I loved the first one. The sequel had a game breaking save bug that could happen at any time and you wouldn't even know it was corrupt until you reached the endgame. They never bothered fixing it because it was on console.

Nathan Lane: A Dramatic Reading Of A Playbill

noims says...

Pointless. I've seen Titus Andronicus, and the playbill of this 'sequel' is so derivative of the the playbill I got then that I honestly can't see how it got produced.

One star.

The Rise and Fall of F.E.A.R.

ant says...

I remember trying its demo and loving it. Then, I bought and played the retail original. It was fun and different. I never played its sequels though.

Nice retrospective, I had gone back and replayed the original and it's two expansions a little while back. I had totally forgotten that there even was a 2 and 3, so I snatched 2 on GOG for pocket change and I can only get 3 on Steam, so maybe later.
