Why you should ALWAYS wear your seatbelt!

Minor injuries sure, but they are lucky to walk away from this...

Btw: What in the world was the guy thinking picking the little one up like that after a crash?!?!!

He had just been pooped out the back of a skoda himself, I doubt he was thinking much at all.

Minor injuries?

Direct side impact crushing the side where small children are sitting. The children going from highway speeds to 0 and being thrown through a window on to roading... i would hardly count as minor injuries.

Just because the guy's in shock and walking doesn't mean he isn't badly injured.

Is that another kid flying into the ditch in a red shirt and green pants?

Damn good eyes. I did not notice that. After further review and I'm still trying to figure out the physics involved.
Yes, he/she came out of the back window of the van. He/she then hits the trunk lid and slides with it in to the ditch.

I can't tell what it is but if you watch it step by step, that object doesn't behave in a human fashion, it also goes incredibly flat for a human. I think it just landed to appear like arms and legs. My best guess is it's just some clothing that was propped up on the back windshield.>> ^dracoirs:

You all are operating under the assumption that the angle of the crash wasn't violent enough to cause the passengers to slip straight up the seat back and out of what quite possibly was lap belts.
