Yeah, it couldn't have been due to the fact he was just an asshole. Bang that drum, Bill.

Oh, so if the guy on the floor was black, and the foot-stomper was white, you're telling me the entire liberal community wouldn't be up in arms? Too many double standards in this country, the Atheists and bunny-huggers are ruining America.

He's not for real is he? You got a daughter Bill O? She's gonna have sex with a black man. You got a son? Make that double. Karma is a bitch.

HOUSTON -- Houston guard Aubrey Coleman issued an apology Sunday after stepping on the face of Arizona player Chase Budinger during a game the previous day.

Coleman, a junior and the team's second-leading scorer, was ejected after stepping on Budinger's face following a charge call with 9:51 left in the second half. Arizona rallied for a 96-90 win in overtime.

"I want to apologize to Chase Budinger for what happened Saturday night. I never meant to step on him," Coleman said in a statement issued by the school. "I have never been in an incident like this before, and I have nothing but respect for him as a great player.

"I love the game too much to do something like that intentionally. I want to say I am sorry from the bottom of my heart," Coleman said. "I know that God knows what is in my heart, but I am hopeful that Chase will understand and forgive."

Houston coach Tom Penders said he regretted the incident but does not believe Coleman intentionally stepped on Budinger.

Don't look like he's not getting suspended any time soon. The punishment seems to be a public apology and a slap on the wrist.

Uh, if there was ANY truth to what is said in that statement (chances are he never even saw the damn thing, let alone wrote it), he would have apologized AT THE TIME, not walked off, laughing and high fiving his buddies.

Underscore - ASSHOLE.

WTF You get a Black President and then you start stepping on our faces?! Oh wait what this happened in 1992? Damn...

On a side Note Sean Hannity above me needs a BAN

Despite all the arguing about this, it doesn't seem like he did that on purpose. What it looks like is that he was trying to step over the other guy, and accidentally tripped over the other guy's head.

Also, the high-five doesn't look to be from the same portion of the game. I really don't think anyone would high-five you for accidentally stomping on some defenseless asshole's face.

^ Kind of my thoughts as well. He's not looking at him when he steps on him. He's looking straight ahead. Sure he looked at him for a second. But if you watch it he's looking across the court once he starts walking. I would think if he was doing it with some intent he would be looking straight at him while stomping him.

I watch a lot of basketball and people get stepped/jumped on all the time. 99.99% of the time it's accidental.

Bullshit. You can see how he changes his stride and also grabs the ball with both hands before the fake stumble. It was absolutely intentional. Should be banned from the game.
