For me its not ethics its the lousy notices from Comcast saying they are gonna terminate my service if i get caught being bad anymore

Not ethics. I'm too cheap to pay for cable and don't know how to steal it.

I'll wait for it to show up on DVD in a year and get it for free from the library.

This is also Mike Judge's new project. Apparently he has a physics degree and worked as a software engineer for a defense contractor before Beavis and Butt-head. Weird.

Here're some ethics: The modern digital world is a micro-dystopia so all bets are off. Why pay when it exists for free. It's not like HBO series are hooked up to a complex network of backend processes that prevent offline viewing.

But... when that DOES happen, well, shit. Your ethics will truly be put to the test, won't they?

How's this for ethics:
I don't think I saw one asian in that whole trailer, while they are almost 1/4th of the population there. (Not to mention the domination of tech industry!) Sheesh.

Reminds me of the Amazon series Betas, which isn't bad. I'm really, really looking forward to their upcoming detective series, Bosch, starring Titus Welliver. You can watch the pilot here.

Some of their other new pilots are also really good. They can be watched free in exchange for feedback. Instead of relying on network executives, they're relying on the viewing public to help them decide which pilots should be picked up for a series run.

I'm so glad online companies are now creating awesome content to compete with cable.
