Pitbull vs Kitten - Love/Hate relationship

Paybacksays...

Yeah, cute right up until the last shot... might be the mystique of the Pitbull... but I TOTALLY was deciphering that look as, "Mess with my kitten and I will fuck your. shit. right. up. bitch."

Also, anyone else thinking Pitbull/Boxer cross? Head around the eyes doesn't seem to have that flat, jaws-with-ears look most Pitbulls do.

This is cute, but I don't think I would ever let my children around a pit, nor another dog of mine. A cat though? Sure

Depends on the dog. I agree on every real guarding-dog, which has to rely on its defensive- and pack-instincts. But there are family-dogs which go very well with kids.
A year ago we had a family reunion and my cousines and my brother brought their toddlers and our dog, a labrador-retriever, was the ultimate trampoline for them. She endured around 10 very loud children - unattended - without any problems. They were grabbing her nose, her teeth, played with her ears and all she did, was lie there and sigh a bit. After two hours or so she got tired of that, dropped a growl and escaped the madness.
I would even entrust my hamburgerz to this dog!

Yea my first thought was that it wasn't a Pitbull, I was thinking boxer too. Then I was like "yea it's a boxer...no wait a minute, it's a pitbull....no a boxer..."

When he picked up the kitten by the head, with his mouth... I just know that I wouldn't be able to let them play like that, I'd be freaking out.

One good (playful) shake, and that kitten might be dead.

Totally irresponsible to allow a vicious animal like that into a household. See how the beast "plays"??? That's just for the camera. When we aren't looking, the brute will probably take out his "friend" and then wipe out the rest of the house when the owners are sleeping. I hope the poor little pit keeps a wary eye on that goblin.
