I bet she's actually really intelligent in her personal life, but has to appear as though science is a whacky liberal agenda and that it is wicked dumb. I imagine most of the viewership applauded the woman's ignorance about such worthless and gay subjects.

On the scale of painful network television, this is not near the top. Yes, she's playing dumb a bit, but the scientist did a good job of getting the information across. Megyn Kelly is not an idiot, although she may be willfully ignorant in science matters.
