Jack Cafferty tells Us How He Really Feels About Palin

bigbikemansays...

Wolfe Blitzer sure doesn't pull any punches though, does he?

Doorman, yes. Butler, yes. Journalist?

Well, maybe, if he lived in Buttfuck Nowhere and his biggest story was how a fireman didn't manage to save little Jimmy's cat from a tree. "Not his best effort, really. The cat is still in the tree."

Well, if McCain's elected at least we won't have to worry about the Russians fucking with us during our economic crisis. Just station eagle-eye Sarah in the Aleutian Islands. The Rooskies won't DARE make a move.

"Biden is going to destroy her in debates, should be good for a laugh..."

I lost my sense of humor about this sort of thing after the Bush Vs. Gore debates.

Stupidity no longer amuses me.

Wow she is painful to watch, I skipped watching that interview, assuming she would at least come off as coherent, even if uninformed, that was just absurd.

The trick for Biden will be not looking annoyed at her absurdity, that would play right to the base for Palin.

Yes, yes indeedy... that it what more, more, more people in the media need to say. Even, let's say, McCain keeps on going.

A) He's god awful on his own
B) Palin would still be in a ridiculously high office in the US

NOT ACCEPTABLE

I don't understand Wolf's defense: "She's cramming a lot of information"

Most politician are actually interested and have studied recent events and actually have an opinion on them. When they speak, they're actually conveying their thoughts on the subject. Why is it acceptable that Sarah Palin is cramming for a test and obviously memorizing lines that she's supposed to say?

And that right there is going to cause McCain no small amount of pain. He brought here in with little thought beyond the 'how will this boost my campaign,' which it did.. for about a week. Once she ends up debating, she's gonna bomb as bad as Perot's VP did in '92. For Perot that was the election. He went from ahead in the polls by near 8%, to only winning a single state and little else.

She's a pretty conservative woman so IMHO it won't be that bad as the hardcore southern christians are sure to still hold on to her. But there's no way the numbers aren't going to drop afterwords and you just know McCain is chewing at the bit and Palin is studying harder then she did for her SAT's. Why else did he want to post-pone her debate and 'suspend' his campaign (which lasted for a day, and in many ways it never happened at all.)

*Applauds*

It is simply unacceptable that someone like Sarah Palin is even considered for VP position. It says volumes about McCain and his seriousness towards running for the highest office in the United States of America.

Maybe the point of her comment is that in order to pay for such a bill ($700B), we have to do it with debt. We already have a large debt. The only reason to take on more debt would be to preserves jobs and growth, the lifeblood of the economy. Her words are unclear, but the point is sound. By no means is this bill as currently shot down guaranteed to make the taxpayers money, but that is not a reason not to do the bill. It should be done, but it should be done in such a way to provide incentives for economic growth (taxes and jobs very relevant when talking about growth). Anyone who wants to cherry-pick this as an opportunity to slander Palin should stick to attacking her on style and polish, not substance.

Obama's policies are nightmarish, particularly as they relate to the economy. The only way for this country to resurrect itself is through long-term growth, and tax and spend is the exact opposite way to go. If you care about your job and think you might barely be holding onto it right now, just wait until Obama raises taxes, someone please explain to me how THAT is going to stimulate the economy. There is no current worse investor than the government, look no further than Fannie and Freddie.
