SFOGuysays...I wish there was mini-GoPro first hamster perspective footage...

Luckily his reduced mass compared to us helps him avoid injury

siftbotsays...Hamster in a high speed wheel has been added as a related post - related requested by CrushBug.
Enzobluesays...Tchaikovsky - Waltz of the Flowers.
oh yeah
00Scud00says...I'm always amazed how these little guys never seem to break their necks using these things, if that was a human they would be in a body cast right about now.
And with that, my daily recommended allowance of flying hamster genitalia has been fulfilled, I was really worried about that.
SFOGuysays...Random apparently true fact; if you mount metal hamster wheels in the wild near animal trails and train remote cameras on them that are motion activated---you will find that the little denizens of the forest apparently cannot resist running on them.
Go figure.
lucky760says...I feel bad for the little rat. Reminds me of Natalie Portman's pets in Garden State (or Sam, as her character was named). She left the wheel in and one of her hamsters didn't know how to use it and it died.
So, is that really him learning to not "crash out?" Is that how they're supposed to finish off a run, by just laying down until they're thrown out again anyway? (I don't know; I've never had a pet rodent.)
newtboysays...Someone might disagree (since it's not human)...but this seemed like Evolution In Action to me
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Eia) - requested by newtboy.
bobknight33jokingly says...PETA Help this abused little guy.
