God's Warriors

Religious militia members are arrested thwarting plans to kill police officers, then raid their funerals to kill more cops.

"Blessed are the peacemakers" is not necessarily anti-violence; most wars are justified as being waged to keep or instigate peace...

Moreover, the Bible (including the parts with our favorite hippie Jeebus) is as much if not more about war, torture and death than it is about peace.

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." Matthew 10:34-37

Ah pride go'eth before the fall. Blessed be the internet for providing these extremist groups a place to rant into the open air and thus provide us all with their malicious intent. Lo and behold! For if thou shalt place up the Youtube, video's of thy intent, we the people of this land SHALL NOTICE and enact such methods as to stop thee.

What idiocy.

If your arrested for saying "I think the end of the world is coming and policemen should be killed" thats thought crime.

If your arrested for saying the above and planning the crime, and preparing for it, and making your intent clear that you are going to take such action, then no. Not thought crime.

see, that was their first mistake. everyone knows it's blessed are the cheesemakers.

on another note, why is the word 'terrorist' not associated with these groups? they're anti-government, they want to kill public officials and other authorities, and they want to do so using guerrilla tactics. what makes them different?

Uhh, arrested for a thought crime?

The FBI does not just arrest anyone for nothing. If court finds that the FBI has enough evidence to arrest then they issue arrest warrants, and search warrants.

I bet the arrested are thankful that they are innocent until proven guilty.

You pathetic fools. You think Jesus hated soldiers? In Mathew there is a clear account of him talking to a nice chilled out legionnaire. He even said the guy would be welcome in heaven, and he wasn't a Jew or baptized for that matter. You think he wanted you killing ANYONE? You know what he did when people came asking for his life? He fucking gave it. Turn the other cheek wasn't just a metaphor. It means if someone hits you in the face you fucking keep your cool.
And while I'm on the subject- Ditch the god damned cross. Fuck, let me see some more fishes for the love of God.
If I'm ever hung, please don't let the gallows become me movements symbol, okay?

No, if you're arrested for saying "I think the end of the world is coming and policemen should be killed" that's threatening to kill police. Though usually you would not be charged unless it could be shown it was a serious threat.

If you're arrested for the suspicion that you might harbor secret, unspoken, murderous intent for police officers, that would be thoughtcrime.

Alex Jones interviewed one of these guys last august. He told them that they were being stupid and they will probably be infiltrated by a fedral agent. This agent will suggest that they should plan for the worst and be ready to kill cops. Alex told this miltia that they will be setup and sent to prison. It only took about 7 months for this all to come about.
