F1: Massa knocked out by spring, darts into wall at 200+km/h

Hit in the head by what seemed to be a spring of Barrichello's shocks, Felipe Massa gets knocked out and piles straight into a wall at more than 200 km/h. He's conscious, but dizzy and will remain in the hospital for now.

Update: Ferrari spokesman says Massa suffered a cut on his forehead, a skull fracture and a concussion. He'll need surgery and will remain in the ICU for observation afterwards.

Lol amazing , Its a shame that for the most part F1 has been utter shit this season, so ironic they made all these changes to the rules to make the racing better and its still shit.

they should ether unlock it compleaty and allow people to enter complatly mental cars ala late 80s early 90s or they should do something like F3000 where all the cars are the same.

for me i think pree 85 as well as 96-98 F1 was far more entertaining then f1 has been for the last couple of years.

Thanks for posting this. I took the dog for a walk just before it happened and then by the time I got back it was all they were talking about but they weren't showing any replays. From what they were saying I couldn't quite figure out what happened, but after seeing this it all makes sense. I hope Massa makes a complete recovery.

Anyone else notice the G-force meter on the screen?

Yes, the g-meter and throttle/brake bars are quite cool in F1, so you can see what they're feeling and doing.

When he hits that barrier, the G-force meter goes pretty high!
