That is without a doubt the best chase scene ever filmed in a nature documentary. Props to BBC and the Planet Earth 2 team for capturing it.

That 2 minute clip had more suspense and action than any movie I've seen in the past few years.

BBC is already showing it. This was from the first episode. I don't think the rest of the world gets it for another couple of months (word is that it will be run in the U.S. in late January on BBC America).

The whole segment was totally spellbinding. Every time those snakes spilled out of the rocks it sent chills up my spine. Watch the whole thing if/when you can.

The scene was almost surreal, the snakes reacting in unison, and so many of them.

wow. more suspenseful that any holywood film i've seen of late. That final leap was an amazing feat.

That was incredible. I don't have a fear of snakes but must admit seeing them all spill out of the rocks like that and move so quickly, in unison, definitely gave me the creeps. Never going to that beach lol.

I'm not sure I buy that this is 100% real. Not CG, maybe, but certainly heavily staged. And maybe some CG too?
