Awesome Kid Dances His Heart Out in an Apple Store

Apparently he's been doing this for a while, but I only discovered this pure awesomeness now. It's so cool to see someone so full of confidence and high on life (with great moves to boot!). This boy's going to be a real heartbreaker, if he isn't one already!

Doesn't Apple's camera reverse the image to be more natural (that is so the backgrounds are properly left to right), or does he put it in this mode to keep from being confused? My cheap Dynamax cam on my PC sets itself to reversed mode so the background can be read, but it does take some getting used to if you are watching yourself.

Really? Gay?

I'm not sure. He dances. He isn't afraid to move his body. That doesn't make him gay.

hpqp, I think you should decide if that channel designation should stay or not.

I would love it if this guy isn't gay. Why are American men so afraid of their bodies? Dang shame.

I couldn't care less if he were gay, straight or bi (he's only 13 anyway), but according to the webs he is not. That's going to make a lot of of boys sad...

You just made me very happy, hpqp.

[edit] Happy for the women in his future -- men who can dance make better lovers, they aren't as uptight!

Happy that the world is changing, that a straight kid can just let it flow. It Gets Better for straight men, too!

JiggaJonsonsays...

Oh give me a break. Really?

You can't have a boy boisterously lip syncing/dancing to lyrics like:

He ain't even gotta try to put the mac on
He just gotta give me that look, when he give me that look
Then the panties comin' off, off, uhrg!

...and have it not sound/look gay.

I didn't make any commentary with my channel assignment; and I standby what I said originally: this is gay.

He does have a very camp posture and very effeminate Mannerisms , obvously before puberty (and after) its possible for someone to go from very effeminate to maculin its also possible for someone to be very effeminate and straight or masuclin and gay.

I would however not be surprised if there was a statistically significant number of males that are effeminate at youth that end up being gay or who know they are gay from a young age. ( some of my friends who are gay and that I grew up with I could tell they were likely gay or bie when they were 12 or so ( not that I really cared ) it was just noticeable in there body language )

It dose not "matter" if he is gay or not but I would say the dance is quite a camp dance and I would not be surprised if he decided he was gay when older.

I would not be in the least surprised if he turned out to be gay, and yes, this is very camp. That being said, I know several people whose personalities are contrary to the heterosexual "norm" and yet are attracted to the opposite sex. A boy in my class in highschool was incredibly camp, exuberant, living his life like a constant performance (he's an actor/musician/artist to boot). Needless to say, he had no problem attracting the girls (in fact, some older women in the art world were fawning over him as well, borderline creepy-like).

In any case, I am of the opinion that our discussion and perception of gender and sexual identity need to move beyond the binary stage:

No you are a fag or not its quite simple , if things were shades of Gray it would be hard to know who to shout at or who should get the death penalty or a good stoning.

and don't try and bring facts into the conversation only dirty liberals use facts to win an argument.

@westy, I don't agree with this statement of yours: "He does have a very camp posture and very effeminate Mannerisms."

When he DANCES, he chooses to camp it up. I see a mimic, an actor, a dancer. I don't see him being camp or effeminate at any other time. I see a joyful carefree kid.

He may be gay, he may not be gay.

Here's what I do know -- he says he isn't. So the gay channel is inappropriate.

Wow.

I have this weird intuition that you're wowing at me or other posters here in the same school of thought.

Well if that kid's not acting gay, neither is this guy. He's just drinking beer and being himself right?

If you're wowing at something else please disregard.
