3D Recreation Of Moon Landing Shows It Wasn't A Hoax

By using its new dynamic lighting technology, GPU manufacturer NVIDIA has graphically recreated the Apollo 11 moon landing site — and the results are crushing a number of wild claims made by conspiracy theorists.

It's not necessary...not in any way. At best, it's just an excuse to play with a new toy (and why would anyone need an excuse?), at worst, it's pandering to the conspiracy nuts by suggesting that their insanity is valid enough to need disproving. It's not like this will convince a single believer to change their mind.

Fantastic work. But it also kinda makes me angry that this is necessary!

Here's a simple question for the morons who still believe the landing was fake. If they got away with the first "fake", why did they risk being caught out by going on to fake 6 more missions with a total of 12 men walking on the moon?

The first one was the important one. It was a race to the moon, to see who'd get there first. The U.S.A. or the Russians. Effectively, it could be argued that it was too important to NOT risk it, because beating the Russians outweighed the actual scientific aspect of it.

(Note, I do not actually believe the conspiracy, and fully realize the truth that man has set foot on the moon)
