Video Submitting Problems - Thumbnails
Seems like a couple recently-submitted YT videos have had problems with their thumbnails.

All three of these are YT videos, so everything should've been fine. Instead, for me, after clicking the final "Submit" button, the page with the video with 0 votes never loaded and after some 5min of waiting I got a System Error. Pretty sure it's the same case with Enoch's video.

I've had this problem as well. It seemed to be solved by invoking a * findthumb however.
^Never saw it work on a YT video before. Nevertheless, I gave it a try and even though it actually seems to have worked this time and they now have a thumbnail on the Unsifed page (thanks dag and/or lucky!), siftbot's comments don't, so I guess that part of the system still requires some looking into.

Hmm, looks like it's just happening with YouTube- and not all the time. We'll investigate.

More recently submitted ones seem OK.
^Thanks! It's very nice to see findthumb working on YT videos at last, so that makes this a less of a pressing problem

Could be a server glitch on Youtube's side.
Wow, so findthumb is actually good for something?
You see? Do you see?! All you findthumb haters betta reckahnize!
Yes, it does look like there was probably just a problem communicating with YouTube, but all seems right again in the thumbnail fetching world.
Youtube seems to be doing some major revamp. It has had that message bar across the top that says they are currently working on things - all week.
Two nights ago, I couldn't subscribe to any channels or get past the age verification for "videos not suitable for minors". I've lost track of how many videos have failed to load, even when viewing from their site directly. So, yes, I expect this may have been the cause.
I'd really like to know what major changes they are making - the direction things have been going lately though, I wonder if it is not in our favor but in the favor of the larger corporate trolls!
Ditto for me recently.
