Heath Ledger Dead

"NEW YORK (AP) -- Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan apartment, and police said drugs may have been a factor. The Australian-born actor was 28. Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the residence in the tony SoHo neighborhood, NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said. A housekeeper who went to let him know the massage therapist had arrived found him dead at 3:26 p.m."

I am stunned. I was a huge fan of his work, even the crappy movies. His portrayal of the Joker in the upcoming The Dark Knight looks fantastic. A sad day for his fans. R.I.P. Heath.

Quite the shock... we don't know the guy, we can't be overly saddened by his death because of that but we can be shocked because he was young, successful, and we just didn't see it coming.

I feel very sad for his daughter, far too young to lose your dad.

that crap movie THE ORDER that he stared in. But then I saw a few other movies with him and he did an incredible job acting. So sad to see someone so young check out so soon. I feel horrible for his daughter. I wonder what was going on with the guy (drug addiction, depression?? was it suicide?)

Apparently his Joker performance was totally in the can, including most post and ADR work. So there won't be a need for re-casting or Crow-type image rejiggering to complete the film. This sucks, because he was a real actor, already on the A list, ready to explode, and he has a baby girl.

Wow talk about unexpected celebrity deaths. I initially didn't like him after they raped Taming of the Shrew for 10 Things I Hate About You but his performance in Brokeback Mountain was outstanding. Good actor.

who? Oh you mean the self-absorbed, selfish fuck that died of a drug overdose in his 25K a month flat in NYC, that left two kids behind?? Such a fucking tragedy, maybe he'll get it right as a hungry ghost, in his next little ditty....
