My bad. I didn't realize break-dancing started in the year 2000.

No I'm sick of this "Make this an Olympic Sport" in my opinion no sports that have judges subjectively awarding points should be an olympic sport. You either have a winner by points or who crosses a line first...other than that fuck off with your lame judging who's better crap.
dannym3141says...Yogi, did you finish 2nd at the first olympic break dancing experiment?
pierrekrahnsays...That's the most UNBELIEVABLE thing I've ever seen in a church (except of course of the who God and Jesus stuff)
legacy0100says...Song name is "Kraddy - Android Porn"

I finished 2nd in Poetry! Buncha jerky jerks!
Ooo I'm righting that down.
gharksays...Tbh, having one routine at a time would have been better, the constant cutting is just kind of annoying.
handmethekeysyousays...I could do that but I just don't wanna.

I think it's kind of a trailer for the DVD (Battle of the Year 2010)
The slow motion parts are great. When you watch the battle in real time it's hard to catch the details of the tricky transitions from a power move to another etc.
sirexsays...Think you've misunderstood. I meant this looks the same as it always has, as in, where's the progress ?

Man, if that's your opinion of all movie trailers, you should go and watch Inglourious Basterds. It was like 200 times longer than the preview.
Mazexsays...So yeah, its got worse, because 1983 looks amazing! They look like they are actually having fun, now they look way too serious about it all.

If artistic gymnastics and synchronised swimming are Olympic sports I can't see why breakdancing couldn't be. Either way you'd have to admit olympic breakdancing would be pretty amazing to watch.
Deanosays...Another reason to ban boxing then.

It's interesting after watching the slow-mo trailer is how similar this is to say... pommel horse.
MilkmanDansays...I know roughly jack shit about breakdancing, but that was fun to watch.
My only problem with judged Olympic-type events is that a routine that looks fantastic to a new viewer is often outranked by more technically difficult routines that don't looks as amazing to the untrained eye. This is true for figure skating, gymnastics, snowboarding, motocross, and on and on. I don't mean to suggest that judges should rate performances by audience reactions, but it can be incredibly frustrating to listen to the expert commentary:
(analyst) Oh, he was incredibly sloppy in the last quarter of his final revolution there...
(me) Dude, that guy just spun around in the air some number of times that I couldn't even accurately count while suspending himself with his pinky. Sometimes I fall down when I put my pants on one leg a time in the morning.
