Yeah this is really a multiplayer game that felt it just had to do a single player campaign these days.

If you're buying BF:BC2 for the story, you're doing it wrong.

Yahtzee really needs to get over his fear of playing with others in order to review a game like this. It's not like you have to be social in an online FPS, or even good. The teams are often so large that your contribution hardly ever decides things anyway. And you don't have to listen to annoying children obsessively spewing the three swear words they know if you don't play on a console.

Really it wouldn't be painful. Just imagine they're robots. Then you get to enjoy a more challenging game, with no scripting, better maps, more weapons, vehicles, and no poorly written characters.

He is right about one thing, the Russians DO have a sweet national anthem.

Oh man, the whole freaking single player game in one sitting and the only thing I remember is that stupid mortar in the snowy mountains level. You also couldn't go inside any of the buildings as they pancaked as soon as you stepped foot in them.

This is an amazing game. I actually enjoyed the single player more then MW2 because it wasn't all "RAMIREZ DO A BARRELL ROLL"

But the multiplayer? Its fucking gold.

Multiplayer is gold in this, but the single player is shite.
