Okay, so I saw the "Phebco" wallpaper and Googled "Phebco".

I found http://www.phebco.com/ which is a pretty robust website. I then went to "People" and I found:

I would say no about the guerrilla marketing thing. If you read the Phebco website, you will see that its content has been randomly generated. All the pages are made of snippets that look like they were passed through Google Translation. It's just here for the Hoyle email address.

MyDamnChannel.com was created by a bunch of TV producers. They're just people doing TV, but tailored for the web. Nothing more. The "You sujck" series just happens to be spot on for this format, so they're milking it a little.
