Why Quadruple Amputees Shouldn't Watch Disney Sports Movies

Kyle Maynard, the quadruple amputee who became an inspirational story when he turned into a star high school wrestler, lost his first (and probably last) mixed martial arts fight by unanimous decision on Saturday night.

Maynard, whose very presence in an MMA cage was controversial, lost a unanimous decision to Bryan Fry in a show in Auburn, Alabama. Maynard has arms that end at the elbow and legs that end above the knee, so he has very limited ability to strike. Fry was able to avoid takedowns and win the fight 30-27 on all three judges' decisions.

How embarrassing. Any reasonably able adult with all his/her limbs could beat this guy, let alone a trained fighter. I'm sorry, but this is political correctness gone mad. He simply doesn't have the physical abilities an able bodied person does. That doesn't make him a bad person and it's not an insult, it's just the truth. Things like this show that political correctness has failed us and needs to be replaced by simple common sense.

Now that his MMA career is over, he should go into professional arm wrestling.
oh wait...

I don't know why anyone would agree to fight him in the first place, but at least his opponent treated him with some dignity.

WTF was he thinking? He can't punch, he can't kick, and how was he going to pull off any submissions?

The black knight always triumphs.
"You yellow bastard! Come back here and take what's coming to you! I'll bite your legs off!"
