Stormy This Week? Try this Violent Hailstorm

Mother of Hailstorms.

REALLY HAS TO BE some turbulent strong winds up above to make hail that size. JEBUS ! look at the size of those suckers!!, I wonder how the insurance is settled in situations like this.

I enjoy the pathetic attempt on the tree with Christmas lights.

Did you notice how many fewer Christmas lights there were by the end. You can see a bunch at the bottom go out at 0:16.>> ^BoneRemake:

It'd probably bruise a person really good. I doubt it'd kill unless it hit someone in a very sensitive location, like the temple with a straight shot. But most people would cover their head/face with their arms or a jacket/shirt if given the chance.

Animals, maybe small ones...livestock I really doubt. Their hides are thick, so they could put their head down and turn away from the wind to make it hit them in the body.

Interesting to watch, without the pool it wouldn't have looked quite as intimidating. I've been in some pretty good sized hail storms, it looks like popcorn popping when it hits the yard and jumps up. Can barely hear the people talking at a normal level next to you due to the noise, gotta yell a bit to be heard.

In both this video and the previous swimming pool hail maelstrom video I don't see any accumulation of ice in the swimming pools. I wonder why.
1) Camera quality and compression hides it?
2) Pools are warm from the summer?
3) Hail stones fragment and melt quickly?
4) There's not actually as much hail falling as it seems?

Funny you should mention it. My dad's an insurance adjuster and hail is one of their most common claims. Typically, the easiest payout is to the roof and siding of the house of course, but from what I understand, it's pretty easy to make a hail claim due to the fact that where there's one, there are usually a few hundred.
