South Park - Jackin' It In San Diego

First response I found was this :

" Its a reference to Jason Russell who made the invisible children/KONY video. He was found drunk and masturbating in the streets of San Diego in march 2012.
Stan is like Jason Russell who makes a video to help a cause but is enjoying the fame it brings him more than he actually cares for the cause."

Yea that's exactly it...

they used their anti bully video in southpark making fun of Kony 2012 video and how it's was just bullshit.

a scam hoax to get free cash from ignorant donators, and the creator of the kony video was of course found drunk masturbating in the streets.

so the whole "jackin' it in san diego" insult throughout the entire episode.

Though I've personally had enough of it, I gotta say, South Park has maintained an amazingly consistent level of quality over it's long run--unlike that other show it's often compared to, the one that started sucking hard about the 8th season and fifteen-odd seasons later still isn't dead for some reason.

edit: Come to think of it, maybe the 8th season was just the beginning of the decline, and the full suckage didn't start until about the 10th. Anyways, South Park is at 16, which is longer than any show has a right to, and is still pretty creative.

I agree that the Simpsons did start sucking however for those who are worth anything...ie those that have grown up with it, it's just an amazing show that'll never be topped. Also South Park does about 14 episodes a season whereas the Simpsons do 22.
