'Round here (south bay, silicon valley), Segways are a plague upon the land. You see them everywhere. Unfortunately, it's usually old affluent white guys who don't seem to be as prone to "risk-taking" as the women in the video appear to be.

I had a similar faceplant experience when our university's ECE department was demo'ing a Segway, and the professor told me that you can't tip it over on flat surface
