Sorry to put a downer on it, but isn't it just the Same-ol, Same-ol. All genres have been done to death and all that appears to be left are sequels, re-makes, or variations of same.

Maybe so, but it looks damn good and I'm prepared to risk the price of admission to see it on a big screen and make my own judgement.>> ^A10anis:

What I hope Ridley realizes is that the uniqueness of the original was it's silence. Those moments where the crew were just hanging out in character, or searching around the ship for a cat, or hiding in cold quiet fear, with nothing but maybe the slight hum of the ship. It was nerve wrackingly silent at times and made you squirm.

MAN, I haven't anticipated a movie so much in a very long time. This movie just looks like how movies are supposed to be made... like how they used to be made.

Thank you for the warning. Was waiting for it to load and thought to peruse the comments while it did so. Glad I read this—no watching for me!>> ^Kalle:

Thank you fucking trailer for showing the entire movie compressed in 2 minutes...

So... Alien 4. Big deal. Acting was horrible.

Resurrection was especially disappointing because it was a screenplay written by Joss Whedon and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. It was supposed to restore our faith in the franchise. Amelie and Firefly made up for it and more, but I still wake up in the middle of the night sobbing.
