While I've really enjoyed most of the Pomplamoose videos this one really falls flat for me. Aside from the cuteness appeal that she always has, it just seems she's not trying very hard at the singing. Also, part of what really made the original version so appealing was the unashamed sincerity. But though her standard amount of smirking and eye rolling it seems like she's being sarcastic. You know, about the love.

Maybe its just how I am, but this type of music really isn't my cup of tea. I do punk, some techno, etc etc, anything with a good hard beat. For whatever reason though I enjoy these guys. Maybe its just the small dosage, maybe its the cutesy face or the editing, I dunno. But one way or another I groove to these guys.

I really like the Pomplamoose music, but I haven't liked any of their solo stuff. Both of their styles mix together to form something win, like cats and the internet, who knew?

Actually while I also found it a bit uninteresting at the beginning, it really picked up for me when they other tracks all kicked in...

Yep, that's the original. There's also a Peter Gabriel version, but yeah, no.
