Ok, so good vid, because I hadn't actually seen them at work. But, 'destroy a duck in seconds'? Or, you know... perhaps, take a damn big chunk out of it over the course of a FEW MINUTES.

The title does seem a tad sensationalist to me, but given the 35 seconds or so that he gave them to om-nom away at the carcass, I'd say it re-enforces their reputation as being voracious.

I wish that maybe instead of cutting back and forth between the underwater and above water shots, they could have split the screen to display both camera angles concurrently.

It sort of ruins one's perception of time during the shot. Furthermore, we don't even know whether the underwater camera work was really from that take, but I guess that might make it too 'boring' for their audience or something.

Don't believe for a second that the time elapsed in that video was the actual time elapsed from putting the duck in the water to the end result, they cut away many, many times.

When people say piranhas devour a bird in seconds, I doubt they're including the time it takes for the fish to find the bird.

That statement also doesn't make any predictions about the number of piranhas involved. A large school would only take a few seconds to do that once they found it.

It seems like the sound engineer wasn't convinced enough by the footage to go the whole nine yards.

That's nothing. I once ravaged an extra large pizza with the works in about five minutes.
