Medical marijuana advocates were celebrating Thursday night.

The U.S. Attorney General has announced plans to end raids on medical marijuana dispensaries that are legal under state law.

Newly installed U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder declared he would stop the practice established by the Bush administration of raiding legally licensed medical marijuana dispensaries.

The Drug Enforcement Agency will now cease the raids that have continued, according to reports, even after Bush left office.

Holder said Obama's campaign promise to stop the raids is "now American policy."

It's a good start.

That's probably why all of those DEA fucks went crazy last week or the week before because they wanted to get their cheap punches in while they could.

I'd like to know how much money the DEA stole confiscated in the course of those raids.

Would be even nicer to know what they did with it.

This is a Band-Aid for a beheading and doesn't make up for one trillion dollars looted from the Treasury, another trillion looted from the people in economy-destroying higher taxes and recent attempts to revive both the UnFairness doctrine and "assault weapons" ban.

You're right, QM. It also doesn't make up for the hundreds of billions spent bailing out private, greedy corporations or the cost of years of war in terms of both dollars and lives. He might as well just continue raiding medical marijuana dispensaries. That should fix everything.

Or wait- are you doing that thing where you interrelate issues that have nothing to do with one another to use any possible opportunity to take a swipe at a democratic politician? You can't complain about America's new marijuana policy so you're just attacking him for whatever else is on your mind aren't you? I'm onto youuuu...

You big kidder. You almost had me there for a minute.

Wow, revolutionary stuff. Thank jesus I don't have to worry about the DEA raiding my house anymore.

Lets throw a feast with the bread crumbs we've just been fed while ignoring the fact that a candidate who would have legalized all drugs without taxation also ran for president.

For as long as you cheer your low standards, you will be relegated to low standards.

If you want to go toe-to-toe about who is the worst president (already) it could be a tie, except in two months Obamunism will already cost 2 trillion dollars while "Bush's" half-a-trillion dollar war freed a country from a dictator.

Bush's poor decisions on many issues doesn't give Obama carte blanche to destroy free markets with high taxes and then use the loot to pay back political cronies, union bosses and ACORN thugs.

Nothing happens in a vaccum and it's hard to give Obama credit where it's due when it's only one correct decision out of 100 and Holder remains an incompetent, Clintonian buffoon.

Legal dope ain't gonna do you much good when there are no jobs, and the munchies aren't going to go away when potato chips are 8 dollars a small bag thanks to Obamian hyperinflation.

Obama's idea of change: Fuck afghanistan instead of iraq. Oh and uphold pre-existing marijuana laws. And raise spending from stupid to suicidal.

that's change we can believe in.
