ravermansays...Palin is a disgrace to successful and honorable female politicians such as Hillary and Pelosi.
This is almost criminal the way she's milked McCain's budget. What a Gold-digger.
Mi1lersays...this really isnt that shocking, and I am beginning to think that the selection or Sarah Palin was done because the republicans knew they wouldnt win the election and picking Sarah was a very simple way to set up a scapegoat. Now the election is over so Sarah is the scapegoat and is being set up as a distraction from whatever issues the republican party is doing now, like say bush pushing through all those bills to destroy the environment.
Circuses and Bread.
chtiernasays...Mi1|er, I dont think so. The republicans dont hand over victories like that. They fought to the bitter end, even when it was pretty much certain they would lose.
millertime1211says...The thing that shocked me most about this wasnt any of the secrets, it's that the news media AGREED to keep all these secrets!!!! It's their duty to us to report the news, not to powder coat the candidates until AFTER we've choosen!! This is a disgrace to american news, if such a thing even exists!
MaxWildersays...millertime, that actually goes to show you how honorable this particular reporter is. She would not have gotten this access without promising to keep the stories quiet until after the election, and she kept her word. If she had blabbed early, the next time they would simply not allow reporters around them at all, especially her.
As to the larger matter, I want to know what the Palin supporters have to say now.
budzossays...The anchor in the screenshot gives me a funny feeling in the pants region.

This conspiracy shit about Palin being picked as a patsy from the start is really absurd. You think they vetted her strongly enough to know she wouldn't take grooming and prepping from the most seasoned minds in her party? It seems like they intended this to be a failure ONLY because it was such a colossal failure that the mind just can't believe it.
mizilasays...So if McCain had won, would they still be telling us this? Congratulations! You just voted in a big fat LIE, now here's all the stuff you probably would've wanted to know before you voted!
And Katie is a-door-a-bull. Reminds me of a Katie I had a huge crush on in high school. Love that accent.

quantumushroomsays...These objective non-Fox "news"-pr-cks can barely contain their excitement!
Palin has the left scared sh*tless even after she lost.
Palin is a disgrace to successful and honorable female politicians such as Hillary and Pelosi.<---the best satire in weeks.

The idea of having a complete idiot in a position of national power should be scary to anyone.
Raigensays...It's not news anymore, it's entertainment.

How much of that news story do you think they would have been told if they hadn't agreed not to report it until a later date? How many future news stories would they have gotten had they promised not to report it and then reported it anyway?
If a reporter can't be trusted on their word then that reporter doesn't get the story. Screw your contacts and no one will ever trust you again.
ponceleonsays...Yeah, seriously, why on earth was this agreement in place? How ironic that she complains about freedom of the press and yet, here we are telling reporters NOT TO REPORT until after the election is done? What if they had won?
