Not sure whether he is preparing for a movie or just does this for fun. Apparently this is a a type of sport-shooting where you have to use 3 guns (a semi-automatic rifle, a pistol, and a shotgun) to hit as many targets as accurately as possible (while avoiding hitting certain other targets--like the gray ones in this video) in a limited amount of time .

Guy's got skills. I did a little bit of pistol-only (just called "Practical Shooting") but they discontinued it at the local indoor range. It was sad because it was pretty popular. It's real tough to stay at all accurate while you're moving.

Maybe it's obvious but it differs significantly from "target shooting" in that you just have to hit the target. No bonus points for hitting the bullseye (there is no bullseye). Penalty time for missing or taking an extra shot.

For those of you not familiar with IPSC, USPSA, or 3 gun competitions like this, Keanu displays a very high level of skill. It takes a large amount of practice and some natural talent to get this good.

For me, it's remarkably difficult to consistently hit something the size of a serving platter at 15 feet over iron sights in a moving/standing stance with a pistol. Even more so as you switch weapons and their sight pictures (which I learned is the way the different back and front sights on a weapon should line up to hit something at various distances from the shooter).

I agree; I feel this is much harder than it looks at first glance.

John Wick was a remarkable different movie.
He's good when he goes dark.

I wonder if I would like MM:FR since I didn't like the first MM film/movie.

rancorsaid:

It had some pretty good action (see: this sift), but it was probably written by a child. Kinda like Fury Road!

That's like saying you don't like Vampire movies because you didn't enjoy the original Nosferatu.
70's movies are nothing like today's movies. That's like comparing 70's music to today's music.
It's 40 freaking years apart. 40.

Go watch Fury Road. Just try it. And the John Wick if you haven't already. Great action.

Fury Road was OK but it still amazes me how much praise it gets. Other than being well shot, it's really not all that great. I honestly enjoyed Road Warrior and the original Mad Max more. To each their own.

Don't I need to see the previous MMs to know its (storie/plot)s?

I like that little extra shell-ring thingy he's got on the shotgun you can see him using to reload right before the slow motion bit. I've never seen one of those before and at first I thought he was pushing a mis-fired shell back into the chamber (or whatever you call it in a shotgun, the breach?), which asking about was the reason I started this comment until I watched it a third time.

I've never fired a semi-automatic shotgun (or any kind of shotgun since I was 15 or so) but I do recall a 12-gauge having a not insignificant amount of recoil, and I've heard from a SWAT guy that semi-automatic shotguns are frowned upon because people in panic-firefight-mode tend to pull the trigger too fast and end up shooting the ceiling. He seems to have no problem though.
