I'm not a big Green Lantern fan (he's alright, but not terribly interesting), but I'm planning on seeing this anyway. Looks like they rendered Sinestro entirely with CGI, and I have to wonder why. It's just the purple skin they have to fake, right? Anyone?

I just hope they do Hal Jordan justice. I'm certainly not expecting "Batman Begins" and especially not "The Dark Knight".

I may be mistaken, but that may be part of its appeal. The very reason I know next to nothing about the green lantern might be what makes this appealing to me as well. This looks pretty cool. Not sure about the choice of actor to play the main part though. >_>

Also, the first 30 seconds to a minute of this hugely reminded me of Mass Effect (2). The games are like grand cinema. Can't wait for that one to be made.

As a big xmen fan and one who has seen all the comic cartoons, I knew who the green lantern was in name and character design only. I think the reason why is BECAUSE the comic book heros I know well I learned from tv first.

Anyways, the trailer looks awesome. I can see now why they are trying to keep the promo material low because the firt trailer did so badly and they don't want to risk killing the movie any more. I think this trailer is a winner though, even if it is only for a selected audience.

Well, I'm not completely oblivious to him. He's the green guy with the ring. That's about what I know. I always thought it was a dumb idea, a fucking lantern, but here it looks very cool. The big bad in this film looks fucking awesome.

I've read the original plans were to use no CGI, with illegal aliens instead of the purple CGI aliens.
