This video perfectly portrays one of the 1,000,000,000,000 reasons that make this part of Northern California amazing.

A big loop of thin fabric or a heavy string, some sticks tied to the loop to manipulate the opening, dish soap and glycerin = More fun than you'd expect.

What would make you think it's fake? It would be a shitload of money to fake this and only $7 to do it legit.

That is seems crazy how big those bubbles are, and that they always seems to 'pop' in the same direction. It definitely is possible that it is fake, though I tend to believe it isn't. The skeptic in me is always looking for the fake I guess.
