Fifth Element - Zorg demonstrates the ZF-1 gun

Don't like the movie very much, even though I was dying to love it, but this scene is considered a surround-sound demo scene for the way the tracking bullets move between all five (or seven) speaker positions.

I belong to a forum about building LCD projectors, and there are several scenese in there which are required test shots (not this scene though. The first that comes to mind is Milla's rejuvenation). Also, for some reason, some scenes from a few kids movies, like, I think, A Bug's Life.

A fantastic movie. A dumb script, sure, plot holes galore, etc... But beautifully visualized and most importantly, FUN!

Put this and Phantom Menace next to each other. Compare their budgets, the years they were filmed in, etc.

Fifth Element has aged infinitely better.
