Archive video footage of Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly in Back to the Future, before being replaced by Michael J Fox.

Taken from the upcoming Blu Ray release (Oct 22nd 2010)

That's phenomenal. I once heard they swore they would never release any footage of Eric Stoltz. Anything to sell more blu-rays, I suppose.

It makes more sense that Crispin Glover would have been his father. They look a lot alike.

In my opinion, Marty McFly was the defining role for Michael J Fox. Nice to see that the inverse is also true.

Also, I always thought it was amazing that they shot BTTF 2 and 3 back-to-back.

Yeah, but Fox could never have been Rocky Dennis.

He's been great in some stuff, but he just looks to be playing the part far too seriously in these brief clips.
